How the free trial works

Every Plausible account starts with a free 30-day trial. During the trial you have access to all Business plan features and limits, so you can explore the full product before choosing a plan.

No credit card, no automatic charges

We don't ask for a credit card when you register. There's no payment method on file, so we can't charge you. Your trial never converts into a paid subscription automatically.

This also means there's nothing to cancel. If you don't want to continue after the trial, you don't need to do anything.

What happens when the trial ends

If you haven't subscribed by the end of the trial, your dashboard is locked and we stop counting your stats. You can still log in to your account.

Upgrade to a paid subscription to unlock your dashboard. All stats collected during your trial are kept. Nothing is reset when you upgrade.

Delete your account at any time

You can delete your account with a few clicks at any point, during or after the trial. Go to Account Settings, scroll to the Danger zone section and click Delete Account. This removes all your sites and collected stats.
